CFE pursues its goals and charitable objects by developing and delivering a portfolio of services that meet the different food, nutritional and food-access needs of the local beneficiaries. CFE services and projects have in-built features which reflect the charitable goals and acts as a framework for translating the health and social goals into practical reality. Integrated in each of our services or projects is one or more of the following key features:

Creation of food enterprise opportunities for young and/or unemployed people |

Creation of strategic and local partnerships and networks to optimise the impact of public sector funding and increase the benefits of commercial relationships. |
Community Benefits
The key features identified above also serve as a framework for measuring and monitoring the quantity and quality of social enterprise outputs and outcomes generated by CFE. For each service and project, data is collected and impact assessment made – using the key features as the social enterprise performance (and quality) framework. CFE shall compile and annual report on outputs and outcomes and periodically, independent performance and community benefit reviews shall be undertaken.
